
Easy to make maja blanca recipes!
Maja Blanca is a Filipino dessert that can be served as a snack during merienda time.
It is soft, creamy, and pudding-like food that you can enjoy with your favorite beverage.
This is one of my favorite snacks or dessert, that’s why I am so eager to learn how to make it on my own, so that anytime whenever I crave it, I will be able to make it easier. So with trial and error, I successfully made some easy-to-make recipes of Maja Blanca.
I like the texture, softness, and sweetness of these recipes. That’s why I would like to share it with you. Cooking time is about 10 to 15 minutes only!
Cheesy corn kernel Maja Blanca

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of coconut milk (this recipe used 2 sachets of coconut milk powder dissolved to 2 cups of hot water).
- 1/2 cup of corn kernels
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- Grated cheese
Procedure:
- Wash hands before cooking to eliminate germs and to make the food clean and safe to eat.
- Prepare all your needed materials and ingredients.
- In a low medium heat using a pot, boil the coconut milk, then add the needed sugar.
- Pour the corn kernel then stir
- Dissolve the cornstarch in the evaporated milk.
- Pour the mixture into the pot, while continuously stirring it until you already achieved the desired texture.
- Put in the molding pan and let it cool and settle before serving.
- Sprinkle some grated cheese!
Maja Blanca con crushed peanuts

For this recipe, I didn’t use corn kernels, cheese, and white sugar, instead, I used brown sugar and crushed peanuts for the toppings. The procedure is just the same.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut milk (this recipe used 1 sachet of coconut milk powder dissolved to 1 cup of hot water).
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- crushed peanuts for toppings
If you like the taste of pure and thick coconut milk, you can try this recipe instead!

- 3 cups pure coconut milk
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- Grated cheese for toppings
