Easy to make cheesy banana muffins and crunchy banana bread recipe

There are two recipes included here, you can do cheesy soft banana muffins or you can do a crunchy banana bread, and learn about the health benefits you can derive from bananas.

According to our “Various health sources” they are as follows:

Health benefits of bananas:

  • A good source of potassium that can promote bone health and magnesium that can aid in maintaining normal blood pressure and can protect the heart.
  • They are caloric dense fruit, that can energize the body.
  • They can protect the body against stomach ulcers because of their antacid effects.
  • Helps to restore the lost potassium due to dehydration during a diarrhea episodes.
  • Can assists healthy digestion and can ease constipation because of the soluble fibre pectin it contains.
  • They can protect us from harmful bacteria that causes gastric disturbances.
  • They can improve the nutrient absorption of the digestive tract.
  • Have a high content of antioxidant.
  • It can improve mood due to its compound property called tryptophan.
  • Can provide energy and may help normalize the blood sugar levels.

Note: Excessive consumption of food is not good to our health and can bring a negative result or bad effects on our body. Always eat the right kind and the right amount of food.

Banana muffin recipe:

Baking time is about 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 riped banana (mashed)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk or buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Procedure:

  • Wash your hands before baking.
  • Prepare your ingredients and materials.
  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 150’c.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl (all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar).
  • Then mix the wet ingredients in another bowl (condesed milk, evaporated milk or buttermilk, margarine, hot water, vegetable oil, egg and the mashed banana).
  • Combine the mixtures together.
  • Pour in the muffin pan
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 150’c.
  • Let it cool then serve!

Banana bread recipe:

Cooking time is about 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 riped bananas (mashed)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 egg

Procedure:

  • Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl (all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar).
  • Then mix the wet ingredients in another bowl (condensed milk, evaporated milk or buttermilk, margarine, hot water, vegetable oil,egg and the mashed bananas).
  • Combine the mixtures together.
  • Pour in the loaf baking pan
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Let it cool then serve!
