The mung bean, also known as monggo, or munggo is a plant species in the legume family. It is commonly known in Asia and Indian countries, and according to our health food source:

  • Mung beans are packed with healthy nutrients that can benefit our body.
  • Rich in protein, potassium, magnesium, and fiber.
  • Helps during constipation
  • It helps to lower high cholesterol levels.
  • Low in glycemic index and can help manage blood sugar levels.
