
Classic cassava cake

This sweet tasting and creamy delicacy made from grated cassava is a Filipino food that can be enjoyed during snack time or as a dessert after a light meal.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups grated cassava
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 2 whisked eggs
For the liquid mixture:
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
Procedure:
- Wash your hands and prepare your ingredients and materials to save time and effort and to ensure a clean and safe food preparation.
- Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 160’c.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated cassava, 1/2 cup condensed milk, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup coconut milk and 2 whisked eggs.
- Pour the batter in a non-stick baking pan, then bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- While waiting, mix the ingredients for the toppings: 2 tbsp margarine, 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 cup condensed milk, 2 tbsp cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup coconut milk.
- Pour the mixture on top of the baked cassava.
- Bake for another 20 minutes.
- Your simple and easy to make cassava cake is now ready to serve, enjoy!
