  • Prioritize your tasks: Identify the important and urgent tasks that you have to do and be able to focus on completing them first before those less important ones.
  • Schedule breaks or time out: Give yourself regular breaks for you to rest and recharge, this will help you prevent burnout.
  • Delegate tasks when possible: If you have the opportunity to delegate tasks to others, do it to lighten your workload.
  • Learn to say NO: Be careful on taking additional responsibilities, and don’t be afraid to decline it when necessary.
  • Plan and organize: Utilize tools and calendars, to-do lists, and time-blocking techniques to stay organized and control your time effectively.

Reasons why you should use a planner

Reasons why you should use a planner

Important reasons of using a planner.

Have you experienced forgetting to accomplish an important task daily like going to the grocery to buy household essentials? Paying the monthly bills that already reached the due date? Going to an event such as birthdays or anniversaries of important people in your life? Or doing an activity that has a deadline? These are stressful because you weren’t able to perform the things that you should do. That’s why planning your day or week is very essential to avoid all of these to happen.

Having a paper planner helps you to focus on your tasks. It is the traditional way of planning your day wherein you will write the important things that you have to do on a given day and check the things that you were able to perform. You can have a planner using your phone but using a paper planner is more beneficial to your well-being. If you are using your phone, it might distract you from completing the tasks. You will forget what to write because of sudden notifications that you have to browse and then later you found yourself having an hour already of scrolling into your phone which delays you in doing your activity.

Planning your day or week is important so that you can divide your time and make use of it wisely. It helps you to do everything that you should do on a specific day of the week. Be sure to write first all the important activities that you have to finish and then next would be the least important things.

Here are the important reasons why you should have a paper planner:

A planner shows a lot of benefits in performing your daily tasks efficiently:

  • It helps you to track the activities that you have to finish within the day. Tracking your activities will help you take note of the things that you still have to do. If you are quite forgetful, for sure this activity will save you.
  • Helps you to avoid running out of time because you know what to prioritize first. Using a paper planner will help you to finish tasks faster because your brain will tell you that there are still other things on the list that needs your attention.
  • It provides an effective schedule that you have to follow. You will find yourself loving the results if you habitually doing it already.
  • Helps you to improve your time management.
  • It enhances your creativity and productivity because you know what to focus on and to perform.
  • Increases your accountability to the planned activities that you wrote.
  • Gives a sense of purpose and accomplishment when you were able to do the things that are listed in your planner.
  • You can complete tasks faster than before, so you’ll have more time to bond with your loved ones.

A planner is significantly helpful in boosting your health:

  • A planner has a good impact on your wellness. For example, you included in your plan going outside for a walk daily, if you were able to do it, it would gonna help a lot in your physical health.
  • Gives peace of mind when you know that you have all the needed information that was written somewhere. Starting a planner helps you to stop spending so much time in front of screens, like browsing your phone.
  • Helps your brain time to rest because you aren’t preoccupied with unmanaged activities.
  • It helps your mental health because it diminishes stress and mood problems related to irritability due to tasks that you weren’t able to accomplish.
  • From writing to reading and checking all the things that you finished motivates you to move on to another day without worries.
  • Accomplishing tasks uplifts your mood, and increases your self-confidence.
  • It serves as a mental therapy that could take you away from the online world.

Reading on a printed paper makes you feel good. It offers a greater sensory experience than using something digital. It is good for your mind, body, and spirit because it can reduce anxiety. It redefines how you reach small goals or tasks each day. If you want to improve yourself and reduce your screen time, then definitely paper planners will greatly help you. It is best for organizing tasks and you are making a favor in your health and wellness in the long run.

How to choose your topic in blogging?

Many bloggers are comfortable in tackling various kind of topics. Sometimes ended up with a no niche blog because of its flexibility, such as you can write various topics that interests you, and you can interact with different bloggers too. One reason for not picking a specific niche is because you are undecided or having difficulty in choosing one. There is no problem for this as long as you know what you are writing, and you have a good goal why you are sharing a certain post or content!

The question is how to choose your topic in blogging?

In content creation, it is important to know your topic, and to deliver it effectively to your readers. Try to ask these questions to yourself before creating one!

  • What are those topics that are very fascinating for you to tackle, or you feel passionate about?
  • What are the things that you usually do in life that you think you can share to other people?
  • What are your unique talents, abilities and experiences?
  • What is that brand you want to be known for?
  • Why are you blogging and for whom is your content intended to?
  • What are the things which you would like to solve?

Things to further help you answer this question, how to choose your topic in blogging?

✔️Consider to tackle topics where you don’t find yourself struggling when writing about it. Topics such as your do-it-yourself creations, your knowledge about finances, health and wellness, your ability to motivate, cooking and baking, sharing tips about traveling in places you already visited or other topics that you know you can tackle confidently. What you really know will help you succeed!

✔️You can always choose what you want to write, just make it sure that the topics that you share can help your readers, something that when they read they can be able to learn from it. Choose a unique topic to discuss, these are topics which you think others don’t usually tackle. Knowing what you can share that is so unique from others will be your edge from other bloggers. Many bloggers are already in the blogosphere, and what will keep you moving in this journey is your unique abilities and desire to help to share.

✔️You should have a goal and purpose. It shouldn’t be just an article or post about your experiences or about what made your day happy! People will come to your blog, and spend time on it, if they know they can learn something in your content. That’s why you should have a goal to help them in some way because in blogging there should be a give and take relationship which will fulfill you as the content creator and your recipients of information.

Is it worth doing? Sweet advice to fellow bloggers who are just starting out!

Is it worth doing? Sweet advice to fellow bloggers who are just starting out!

Hello everyone! Welcome to this post! You are here maybe because you have that question in mind that keeps knocking, if what you are doing right now is something worth of your time and effort. Have you ever asked this question once in a while? Is it worth it?

Sometimes even though you are happy of what you are doing, be it just for a hobby, job, passion, or something you vision to improve yourself. We can’t hide the fact that we have that questions within ourselves, like what am I doing? Why am I doing this? Is it worth doing? Why can’t I see the results that I am aiming for?

I started this blog because I want to have an outlet for my thoughts, ideas, and opinions and have a goal of inspiring others through my contents, whatever topic it may be. I’ve also asked myself regarding this question, and the same answer would fall over and over. That I am doing this because I love to write, I love to see those words, filling up phrases to form sentences and paragraphs and to complete a post, drafted in a notebook, transferred it online and lastly publish it. Yes, not all will appreciate my words, not all will respond to my post, not all would like, comment, or even follow, not all would relate, and not all would dare to give their precious time to read it! But the thought that what if someone out there got the interest to read it, learn from it and may find inspiration from my post? What if it became a sort of motivation for him/her to continue or to learn something? Then this keeps me going, and holding me back when I feel like it’s not worth it.

I want to encourage you as well to:

  • Hold on to your goals whatever it is! It maybe difficult, but with dedication, proper attitude, perseverance and of course your passion with what you are doing, you will surely get there, and achieve your goal. You already have the best starter kit to go through, that is your will to share your contents without asking for something in return.
  • Keep moving forward and never compare yourself -step up, do not feel so intimidated just because you see other bloggers already do well, can write good contents, and already gained numerous followers etc. They also ones in your situation, we don’t know how many hours a day they’ve put in, the effort they exerted to do it, for them to achieve that point of their life.
  • Never doubt yourself, sometimes this is one of the reasons why we quit with our goals in life, why we lose the passion that we needed to go through. Some newbies quit too soon because they are rushing to see the result that they are aiming for.
  • Lastly, be always proud of yourself, it’s already an achievement for you if you’ve able to publish a post that you believed can help or impart something to other people. Be it doing what you love that gives an inspiration and motivation, sharing tips, your knowledge about a certain product, about your baking, cooking, or even simply doing, DIY etc. All of that matter, and I believed that if you love what you are doing you will always be inspired to continue whatever it takes.
